Honda puts hydrogen fuel cell concept into production next year

Honda expects the FCX hydrogen fuel cell will get an average fuel mileage of 68mpg in both city and highway driving with a range of 270miles. The only emission from this type of technology is water vapor as the fusion of hydrogen and oxygen produces electricity. The car is certified for daily use by both the Environmental Protection Agencyand California Air Resources Board.

The car had done its crash test making it viable to go into production. About how do refuel these cars. There are currently 60 hydrogen refueling stations round the United States where 50 of them are located in California. Although Honda has said that problem has been solved. It’s working on a home refueling station that will use natural gas to produce hydrogen and provide electricity to heat homes.
